Are you ready for your new family member?
Before applying, here are a few things for consideration:
Home check
A background check is required to make sure the pup is going into a safe environment. If you rent, or have an HOA, we will validate that the pet is welcome there.
Medical check
We will check your vet references to ensure you have a history of providing check-ups for past pets. All dogs will be sterilized, microchipped and vaccinated prior to delivery.
Why are rescues so picky?
Our donors and volunteers entrust us to use our resources to find the best homes. We want the pup’s new start in life to be happy ever after for you and them.
Lifestyle considerations
A fenced yard is preferred, but not necessarily required for all adoptions. The pup will need to live indoors in a climate controlled environment, especially being indoors while you are not at home. Your lifestyle must allow you to give adequate time for attention and exercise, not leaving the dog unattended for more than 9 hours in a day. If you have other furry family members, we require a video/web meeting of your pet interacting with other dogs.
